[PFF] Upcoming Events, Call for Volunteers

Thanks to everybody who came out to the PFF AMG, and to the two sold-out shows with Craig Cardiff at the Gordon Best Theatre!
We've got some terrific stuff coming up:
Friday March 20: The Canadian Canoe Museum presents Music of the Wild IV featuring Thunder Bay singer/songwriter Rodney Brown (www.rodneybrown.ca), Gopher Baroque (www.gopherbaroque.com), Glen Caradus, and Sarah Decarlo

Saturday March 21: The Canadian Canoe Museum presents The Paddling Puppeteers and Faire Tyme Toys, included with museum admission. A variety of colourful puppets bring to life several stories focusing on environmental issues. The shows present ideas of how we can take simple steps to preserve and restore Canada's natural heritage. For more information please visit www.paddlingpuppeteers.com

March 20 - May 22: Applications accepted for PFF's 2009 Emerging Artist. Please visit EA Award for more information, and for the nomination form. We encourage both artists themselves and members of the community to submit a nomination.
Ready to take on a role at the PFF? Volunteers are urgently needed for a number of positions; please visit PFF Volunteering for more information about available roles and what you can do to get involved. We're looking for kind, empathic people who love the festival to help make it happen!
